The LX100 camera presents some special challenges to the housing designer - in particular the aperture ring, the side ratio control and the on/off switch. Although this requires presetting these three controls when installing and removing the camera, this housing offers the user complete and very ergonomic control over these important functions.
The NA-LX100, like the previously released NA-G7X, features the new Nauticam interchangeable port system for compact cameras with wide-angle lenses. The so-called "N50"port connection enables the precise selection of optical solutions for maximum performance in the water. The ports are attached and securely locked via a bayonet connection.
The zoom lever is positioned for easy access and smooth zooming for the videographer. A locking ring prevents over-zooming when using a short port.
This housing also includes handle mounts for use with the optional Flexitray or Easitray, which provide additional stability - important when shooting high-resolution video.

The Nauticam leak alarm and vacuum monitoring system is installed as standard. This system gives an audible and visual alarm whenever water enters the housing, and when combined with an additional M16 vacuum valve (NA25612), the watertight integrity of the system can be tested before entering the water and monitored on every dive.
The NA-LX100 is the most robust, ergonomic and well-designed option for taking this powerful yet compact camera underwater.
The N50 PORT SYSTEM
Due to the specific camera and lens function of the Panasonic LX100, a special port system is required to fully utilise the potential of the wide-angle accessory lenses underwater.
The NA-LX100 "standard"mount included with the housing enables full zoom and is wide enough to shoot with the lens at full wide angle without vignetting. An optional flip mount (NA25107 M67 Flip Diopter Mount for NA-LX100 Standard Port) allows the use of macro lenses with standard accessories. This port is ideal for medium-sized fish portraits, close-ups and macros with additional wet lenses.
A dome port solution is also available, which restores the subject's angle of view in the air and allows zooming. This is a lightweight configuration that provides a surprisingly wide angle of coverage. This port is called N50 3.5? Acrylic Dome Port (NA38702).
An optional N50 short port with M67 thread for wide-angle lenses (NA38701) is also available, which allows precise placement of wide-angle attachment lenses in close proximity to the camera lens in its wide-angle zoom position. Full zooming is not possible with this mount, but offers the widest possible coverage with minimal vignetting for wide-angle shots.
INTEGRATED VACUUM PRÜF AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM
The Nauticam vacuum testing and leak detection system is supplied as standard with the NA-LX100. In combination with an additional vacuum valve, this monitoring system constantly provides up-to-date information on the watertight and safe diving condition of the housing. A simple, colour-coded LED lighting system shows the user whether the vacuum is stable or whether the housing is losing vacuum. Leakage detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given in the event of water ingress.
The Nauticam system is temperature compensated and eliminates false alarms caused by a change in external temperature or by the heating of a camera during an action-packed dive.
