The Nauticam Atomos Flame housing supports the Atomos Shogun Inferno and Shogun Flame, as well as the Shogun Inferno and Shogun Flame external recorders and monitors.
This housing is equipped with an SDI connector.
The Gehäuse provides an unobstructed view of the excellent 7"screen and provides access to key touchscreen functions via buttons on the underside of the panel.
Hassle-free installation
Installing the Atomos Shogun or Ninja recorders couldn't be easier with the Nauticam Atomos Flame housing. The monitor simply slides into place and is secured with three rotating latches. The Rück side of the monitor is fully accessible, so media and battery changes are quick and easy.
Built-in cooling
The processing power required for recording professional video formats is enormous, and this workload generates heat. Shogun uses a cooling rail to dissipate heat in the air and to maintain normal operating temperatures in the water. Therefore, the Nauticam housing uses two active fans. These fans distribute heat across the housing wall, where it can be effectively transferred into the water.
The cooling system is powered by a dedicated Sony NP-F550 battery that provides approximately 12 hours of operation on a single charge. An LED light and external switch allow the lights to be turned on and off from the outside of a sealed enclosure.
The Nauticam Atomos Flame Gehäuse supports all Sony NP-F batteries with the exception of the NP-F970 and Atomos NP-960, as they are too large for the Gehäuse.
Vacuum test and leak detection system
The Nauticam Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System and Vacuum Valve come standard with the Shogun Gehäuse. This monitoring system provides constant updates on the watertight and safe condition of the Gehäuse. A simple coded LED lighting system indicates to the user that the vacuum is tight or that the Gehäuse is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit, providing an audible and visual indication when water enters.
