The Epic LT weighs under 7kg and its small form factor means it literally fits into a backpack that fits under the seat in front of you.
The entire Epic LT system is set up in minutes! A top-mounted Arri dovetail plate that mounts the camera in the housing, and an intermediate interface between the SWITCHBLADE module and the housing. The controls do not need to be preset when installing the camera, and the camera can even be mounted with Red's quick release plate on the bottom.

This version of the Epic LT housing has been designed to integrate seamlessly with stacked PAGLink PL96 batteries that have proven themselves with the Nauticam user base.
Integrated REDTouch 5-inch LCD monitor
The Epic LT (16106) offers space for the REDTouch 5" LCD monitor inside the housing and is visible through a window on the back of the housing, which includes a removable screen.
The monitor is located at the rear of the enclosure and swivels out of the way when the enclosure is opened to allow unobstructed access to the batteries and monitor connections.
Integrated vacuum test and leak detection system
The Nauticam vacuum testing and leak detection system is supplied as standard with Epic LT.
In combination with an additional vacuum valve, this monitoring system provides constant, up-to-date information on the watertight and safe diving condition of the housing. A simple, colour-coded LED lighting system indicates to the user that the vacuum is firm or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is integrated into the same circuit so that an audible and visual indication is given in the event of water ingress.
The Nauticam system is temperature compensated and eliminates false alarms caused by a change in external temperature or by the heating of a camera during an action-packed dive.
