The aluminium housing ensures optimum heat dissipation and is therefore virtually fog-free. Its stability not only allows it to be used at (almost) any diving depth, it also protects the camera from the hardest impacts. As with the Osmo housing, the underwater housing for the Hero 8 now comes with a new optional accessory: the magnetic diving filter set and the magnetic filter frame with macro lens. A magnetic filter parking station is now available for all housings. Screwed onto a diving rail, the park station can be used to quickly and easily "park" magnetic filters or the macro lens that are not needed at the moment.
As always, every single enclosure is tested in the pressure chamber beforehand - in this case up to 250m diving depth!
